Growing up in Jefferson City, MO, a smaller midwestern town, Katie’s family is everything. Kody and Katie moved to Crested Butte, CO in 2019 and started to build their own little mountain-dwelling family. They have three dogs – Molly, Lua and Cedar. Molly and Cedar travel to South Dakota for a month every year with Kody to guide pheasant hunts. Lua is the quirkiest, most stubborn lady Katie knows. She and Kody love to host friends and family when they come to town and always get back to MO a couple times throughout the year to catch up with the rest of the family.

With 300 days of Colorado sunshine every year, she loves to stay active and outdoors – mountain biking, hiking, and climbing in the summertime and hitting the slopes come winter snowfall. There is so much access to the wilderness right from her doorstep, she feels so fortunate to be able to live in an environment that fosters a healthy and fun lifestyle.

Katie has a passion for traveling and exploring. Her van, Vandy has taken her many different places around the states and she loves the simple vanlife lifestyle.
